
CEE - AIG invests in SC Digital Cable Systems SA
AIG Capital Partners has invested EUR 45m in Romanian firm SC Digital Cable (DCS) Systems, a provider of video re-transmission services. The commitment will be funded by AIG New Europe II, a EUR 523m fund dedicated to investments in Central and Eastern Europe. This investment is the second made from the fund, which closed in March. Bucharest-based DCS controls a platform of more than 330,000 subscribers to cable television, direct-to-home and Internet services.
