SWITZERLAND - Zurmont Madison's CLS acquires Scandinavian Translators
Zurmont Madison Private Equity-backed communication technology business CLS Communication has acquired Copenhagen-based rival Scandinavian Translators for an undisclosed amount.
The acquisition strengthens CLS's position in the Danish market and provide the company with a platform for further expansion in the Nordic region. Both companies have a similar business model and complementary client base.
CLS Communication AG is an international provider of multilingual communication and technology services, with a primary focus on the fields of finance, insurance, telecommunications, life science and legal. It was acquired by Zurmont Madison in July 2009, which secured the equity funding to execute the company's further international growth strategy.
Lyngby-based Scandinavian Translators is a Danish translation and interpreting company founded in 1977, which employs 15 internal and around 120 external staff.
