HarbourVest to list shares on LSE
HarbourVest Global Private Equity has announced plans to list its shares on the Specialist Fund Market of the London Stock Exchange.
The private equity investor, which is currently listed in Amsterdam on NYSE Euronext, has also embarked on plans to have a secondary offering of shares in London - selling shares held by existing shareholders to new investors.
The secondary offering gives the new investors an option to sell the shares back to HarbourVest on November 15 2011. HarbourVest has put a $40m cap on the total value of shares it will buy back through the option.
JP Morgan Cazenove and Oriel Securities have been appointed to coordinate the shares placement
