BELGIUM - Waterland invests EUR 50m into Enfinity

The capital injection will allow Enfinity to accelerate its growth in markets in which it is already present, namely 12 countries in Europe, the US and Asia, while also developing its position in new countries.

Headquartered in Waregem, Enfinity was founded in 2005 and has seen its turnover increase from EUR 200,000 in 2006 to EUR 83m in 2008, with projections for 2009 suggesting that this figure will triple again.

Enfinity estimates it will draw 90% of this turnover increase from foreign countries and the development of solar power projects on company roofs, residential roofs and on the ground, both with national and international customers.
