CEE - Enterprise Investors acquires STD Slovakia and Donivo MKD

Enterprise Investors ' Polish Enterprise Fund VI has invested EUR 23m in STD Slovakia and Doniva MKD, two Slovak transportation service providers. STD and Donivo will merge and operate under the STD Donivo brand. Founders of the two companies will retain their minority shares and remain in top management positions, while EI will become the 75% shareholder. The transaction was worth EUR 34m including debt leverage and a share capital increase.

STD and Donivo were founded in the early 1990s and became active in the international transportation business after 1998. The companies now provide transportation services to major European clients and manage a combined fleet of more than 330 trucks. The combined turnover of the two companies was estimated to be EUR 55m in 2007.
