NORWAY - Return backer Capricorn takes 7% stake in Metallkraft
Existing investor Capricorn has subscribed to a new share issue for Metallkraft AS, a Norwegian waste and disposal technology business, taking a 7% stake. Norwegian government-owned Investinor also participated in the round, and took a 7% stake, investing NOK 66m.
A production plant Yangzhou was successfully launched earlier this year, and another plant in Singapore serving REC ScanWafer is planned for 2010.
Capricorn was introduced to the business by Enskilda in Norway last year, and invested EUR 3.5m in December 2008 from Capricorn Cleantech Fund as part of EUR 22.8m funding round.
