NETHERLANDS - Forbion and Inventages back AM-Pharma with EUR 7m
Existing investors Forbion Capital Partners and Inventages Venture Capital have backed AM-Pharma, a Dutch biopharmaceutical company, with a EUR 7m investment. The funding represents the first close of a series-C financing round targeting EUR 30m.
Founded in 2001 in Bunnik, AM Pharma is a specialist developer of drugs designed to combat infections and inflammation, which are based on compounds derived from the innate human immune system.
The business is currently in active discussions with several potential investors from both Europe and the US on a further EUR 13m investment.
