SWEDEN - Sixth AP Fund acquires 25% of Atlas Design

The Sixth AP Fund (AP6) has acquired a 25% stake in Atlas Design AB, a family owned accessories fashion house. The business was founded in 1943 by the Landow family.

Atlas Design is headquartered in Gothenburg, with affiliates in Denmark, Norway, Germany, Italy and the UK, and employs 60 people. It sells both its own design and has other brands like Joop!, Bugatti and Tiger of Sweden, under licence. Atlas Design seeks to achieve a turnover of SEK 1.5bn in five years.
