
GERMANY – BWK acquires stake in BKtel-Group
BWK GmbH Unternehmensbeteiligungsgesellschaft has acquired a 49% stake in optical systems provider BKtel for an undisclosed amount.
The BKtel mainly focuses on development and manufacturing of components and systems for optical networks such as Fiber to the Home and Hybrid Fiber Coax. BKtel has two offices in Germany, representations in China and Indonesia as well as distributors in Europe and Asia. The office in Baal focus on OEM products, services and manufacturing, whereas the office in Kornwestheim near Stuttgart, Germany, places its main focus on development, integration and marketing of complete systems for cable TV networks.
