SPAIN - Caja Madrid backs bridal firm
Caja Madrid and the private equity firm of the government of Madrid have acquired a 20% stake in bridal company Grupo Nupcial Novissima in a capital expansion deal valued at EUR 3m.
The company owns four brands (Novissima, Charo Peres, Camila Elbaz y Estrella Roch), has 61 stores in Spain and employs 220 people. It also has a presence in Mexico through an agreement with department store Liverpool and it is considering opening 46 new stores over the next five years.
