DENMARK/US - SLS supports $8m AdvanDx funding
Returning backers SLS Ventures and Danish pension fund LD Pension have contributed $8m in the second part of a series-C funding round for biotechnology business AdvanDx.
US and Denmark-based AdvanDx develops advanced molecular diagnostic products for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of life-threatening bacterial infections. The products are currently used by medical centres, reference labs, government institutions and community hospitals in the US, Europe and Asia. The business was founded in 2002 by Thais T. Johansen and Dr. Henrik Stender.
The recent capital injection will fund expansion of the product offering as well as international sales and marketing efforts.
