SPAIN - Realza-backed Clínicas Perio completes add-on acquisition
Realza Capital-backed dentistry clinic Clínicas Perio has acquired an 85% stake in sector rival Clínicas Aparicio for an undisclosed sum.
Clinicas Perio employs 106 people and reported had a revenue of EUR 10.2m last year. Realza acquired a 58% stake in the business at the end of 2007, with the funding family retaining a 30% stake and the balance being held by the management team and several key employees.
Aparicio founder Carlos Aparicio will take a 9% stake in the combined group and will join the board.
