UK - MMC Ventures invests £1.1m into E-Stack
MMC Ventures has invested £1.1m into cleantech company E-stack.
E-Stack was spun out of the University of Cambridge in 2006, following a BP-funded research programme at the University's BP Institute. The company designs and manufactures ultra low-energy ventilation systems. Its patent-pending natural ventilation system reduces overall energy consumption of buildings by 50%, compared with buildings using conventional ventilation systems.
The new funding will be used as working capital, as well as to expand the sales and R&D teams.
