
SWITZERLAND – Waburg Pincus invests CHF 36m in Spectraseis
Warburg Pincus has invested CHF 36m in Zurich-based Spectraseis AG, a provider of low frequency geophysical solutions to the upstream oil and gas industry. In return, Warburg Pincus has acquired a significant minority stake in the business. StatoilHydro Venture Capital continues to own a 22% stake in the company. The investment will support the company’s growth plans.
