UK - SiConnect receives £700,000 investment from Esprit

Esprit Capital Partners has led an investment round for SiConnect Ltd. The ТЃ700,000 is part of a first tranche of second fundraising which comes from Esprit's Prelude Trust Plc fund and follows earlier investments of ТЃ1.3m in March 2006 and ТЃ2.8m in May 2005. TTP Ventures and Dow Chemical Company also participated in all funding rounds. Esprit Capital Partners now owns a 29.2% stake in the company.

SiConnect provides market leading in-home powerline communications technology. Its innovative silicon and software solutions enable existing domestic electrical wiring to be used to transport audio, video, voice and data throughout the home. Based on its unique POEM technology, SiConnect products create home networks that overcome the installation challenges that Ethernet and wireless simply cannot address, with a level of capability that is in the sweet spot for mass market consumer electronics manufacturers.
