FRANCE - Evolem buys Solemco
Evolem has purchased a majority stake in Solemco, an automatic distribution business, for an undisclosed sum.
The platform acquisition is the first stage in a buy-and-build expansion strategy.
The acquisition was supported by Da Participations, an investment vehicle belonging to Prodia Plus, a company which specialises in food and drink automatic distribution. Da Participations will also participate in future add-on acquisitions.
Da Finance already holds Gobmatic, another automatic distribution company, purchased in July.
Solemco, based in Brest, has 5700 automatic distribution points which generated a turnover of EUR 20m. The combined turnover of Solemco and Gobmatic is EUR 26m
