
DENMARK - Vækstfonden invests DKK 10m into Smartshare Systems
Danish venture capital firm Vækstfonden has made an investment of DKK 10m into IT company Smartshare Systems.
The company, which won the Danish Venture Cup for best business idea in 2004, develops intelligent bandwith management routers. The products are currently distributed in Denmark though, with the new capital injection, the business plans to expand its operations across the Nordic region and in Germany and the US.
Founded in 2006 by engineer Morten Brørup , the company is based in Herlev in Denmark.
