SWEDEN - Ratos-backed EuroMaint acquires EISAB for SEK 24.5m

Founded in 2004, Vänersborg-based EISAB performs installations, repairs service and maintenance of waste combustion facilities and combined heat and power plants in Sweden. In 2008/2009 sales amounted to approximately SEK 129m, with an EBITA of SEK 7m. The business employs 35 people.

EuroMaint was acquired by Ratos in 2007, and provides maintenance services to the rail transport sector and engineering industry. Its subsidiary EuroMaint Industry focuses on industrial maintenance offering services within automated production equipment and component servicing. The business employs some 300 people and counts for 16% of EuroMaint's total sales, with EuroMaint Rail generating the balance.
