UK - Maven's Capital for Enterprise invests £2m into Pentagon
Maven Capital Partners, via its Capital for Enterprise Fund, has invested ТЃ2m into chemical manufacturer Pentagon Chemicals.
Founded in 2002, Pentagon is a chemical manufacturer of organic intermediates. The business is focused on the agrochemical, pharmaceutical, paper, fuel additives, specialist catalyst and flavour/fragrance sectors. Pentagon employs around 160 people in Cheshire and Cumbria and has sales of £40m per year.
The new capital will be used to support the company's growth and development plans in the life science, petrochemical and specialty chemical markets.
