UK - Smedvig Capital leads £4m investment in new drinks brand

SUSO, whose chairman Harry Drnec is the former managing driector of Red Bull, is a new entrant in the £2bn UK carbonated drinks market. The company has produced a carbonated soft drink made form 100% fruit juices - the first of its kind in the UK. Aimed at the UK youth and young adult market, the drink offers one of the recommended 5-a-day fruit portions and is therefore well-positioned to take advantage of the shift in consumption towards fruit and healthy drinks.
