UK - LDC invests in Eve Trakway
LDC has invested an undisclosed sum in Eve Trakway, a supplier of temporary pedestrian and vehicle access equipment, such as roadways, footpaths, bridges and crowd control barriers, and ground protection systems which are used in major rail, communications and utilities infrastructure projects and outdoor events.
The company has also developed the four metre-high, 7.5km long Super Fortress Fence used at the Glastonbury festival since 2002. Sales have grown by nearly 27% since 2006 to £16.5m.
LDC has acquired a minority stake and Lloyds TSB Corporate Markets provided senior debt and working capital facilities. The funding will enable Eve Trakway to acquire complementary businesses.
