
SPAIN - ERA Biotech raises EUR 1.4m from private equity investors
Bioproductivity company ERA Biotech has raised EUR 1.4m to finance its activities related to the manufacture of recombinant proteins in cultured cells.
Invertec, Reus Capital Riesgo, Talde Capital II and Uninvest each invested EUR 300,000 in convertible loans in the round, which also included participation by individuals and entities close to the company. ERA Biotech will use the funds to continue the commercial deployment of its bioproductivity manufacturing solutions, to augment the downstream processing gains they deliver, and to initiate the development of proprietary products.
