
SPAIN – Candover-backed Parques Reunidos acquires Kennywood
Candover portfolio leisure company Parques Reunidos has acquired US company Kennywood Entertainment, increasing the number of parks it controls to 67.
Parques Reunidos is Europe’s second largest leisure park operator with an annual turnover of EUR 515m and 26 million visitors in the year to date. Recent acquisitions include Sea Life Park Hawaii (US, April 2008); TusenFryd (Norway, January 2008); and Palace Entertainment (US, October 2007).
