Riverside promotes two in Europe
Riverside has promoted two members of staff in its European offices, as part of a nine-strong promotion flurry across the global firm.
Peter Schaberger (pictured) joined Riverside in 2005 and has worked on the acquisition or management of seven firms, several bolt-ons and four exits. He is now a partner in Munich.
Schaberger was previously an associate at Doughty Hanson & Co in Frankfurt and London where he was responsible for transaction origination and the execution of private equity transactions. Prior to that, he was an analyst in the investment banking division of Citigroup, where he focused on M&A and IPOs.
Lars Eriksson is promoted to principal in the origination team for the UK, Nordic and Baltic countries. He joined the firm in 2007 and has been involved in the identification and acquisition of several Riverside portfolio companies.
Eriksson is the founder of an M&A advisory and investment business in Stockholm, and a former associate director for private equity at UBS Capital in London.
