UK - Finance Wales participates in £5m funding round for TES Aviations

Finance Wales has reached its 1,000th deal with an expansion capital investment into TES Aviation. A funding package of more than ТЃ5m was supported by international financiers, the company itself and by Finance Wales, the organisation created by the Welsh Assembly Government to provide investment funding for Welsh businesses.

The investment will be used to purchase five Rolls Royce aircraft engines. The Rolls Royce RB211 engines, used on Boeing 757s, have been acquired from two international organizations and will position TES as one of the foremost independent owners of this engine type in the world. The engines will be selectively repaired, leased and dismantled to support the international airline market. Founded in 1995 by co-owners Ashley Cooper and Bob James, TES Aviation has established itself as one of the leading independent providers of commercial aircraft engine maintenance management services globally.
