
MPS Venture acquires 40% of Eulip
MPS Venture SGR SpA has acquired a 40% stake in the specialist oil producer Eulip Srl for an undisclosed amount. Other private investors hold the remaining 60%.
Located in Parma, Eulip specialises in the processing and sale of cooking oils and fats for use in food, cosmetics and pharmaceutical industries. Eulip buys the raw materials directly from the country of origin and uses them to produce ingredients and semi-refined products. Its principal clients are manufacturers of food products such as chocolates, cakes and ice-cream and include companies like Nestlé and Lindt. Eulip Srl generates sales of around EUR 30m and has an EBITDA margin of 14%.
