FRANCE - Turenne leads Aston Medical France restructuring
Turenne Capital has led the financial restructuring of orthopedic implants manufacturer, Aston Medical France. The private equity firm contributed EUR 3.5m alongside Sofimac Partners, which committed EUR 1m.
Founded in 2001, Aston Medical manufactures shoulder, hip, knee and spinal prostheses. The company generated a 2005 turnover of EUR 9.5m and hopes to increase this figure to EUR 20m by 2009, representing a 20% yearly growth. The business’ plans for development include expansion throughout Europe and the Middle East, as well as some acquisitions.
