IRELAND - NCB invests €2.5m in Zamano
NCB Ventures, via its Ulster Bank Diageo Venture Fund, has invested in listed mobile data services company Zamano in a deal valued at EUR 2.5m.
The transaction will see NCB acquire a 14.6% stake in the business.
Dublin-based Zamano provides interactive applications and services to mobile devices. It sells its content directly to consumers by advertising it on market channels such as online and mobile portals and by placing it on adverts on TV and in print media. The company employs 55 people across its offices in Dublin and London.
The new funding will be used to develop smartphone applications, expand into new overseas markets and strengthen the company's balance sheet.
