UK - Succes Europe et al. invest £3m into Helveta
French technology investor Succes Europe has led a ТЃ3m second funding round for timber track and trace technology provider Helveta Ltd, alongside existing investors Albion Ventures and Oxford Capital Partners.
Helveta is the developer of the CI World software platform, a technology that provides fully auditable traceability and chain of custody control for extended supply chains in the timber and food production sectors. Production is monitored using Helveta's mobile device-based software applications and barcode or RFID reader technologies, which link into the company's web-based tools and reports. The business was founded in 2004 and is based in Oxon.
Albion (previously Close Ventures) led a £2m funding round for the company in November 2006, alongside Oxford Capital and private investors.
