GERMANY - SET et al. EnOcean backers in EUR 8m round
Existing investors Atmos, BayTech Venture Capital, Emerald Technology Ventures, SET Venture Partners, Siemens Technology Accelerator, Siemens Venture Capital and Wellington Partners, and strategic investor Kathrein group, have invested EUR 8m in self-powered wireless technology company EnOcean.
Headquartered in Oberhaching near Munich, EnOcean manufactures and markets maintenance-free wireless sensor solutions for use in buildings and industrial installations. EnOcean products are based on a combination of miniaturized energy converters, ultra low-power electronic circuitry and reliable wireless.
EnOcean currently employs 50 people in Germany and the USA.
