SPAIN – Highgrowth backs real estate search engine
Highgrowth Partners has invested approximately EUR 1m in real estate search engine Nuroa, thus closing its first deal of 2008 and its fourth overall transaction.
Barcelona-based Nuroa was founded in 2006 by Oriol Blasco and Gary Stewart. The company is a real estate search engine that compiles rentals and property for sale by agencies and private individuals. The company has a presence in the Spanish and German markets with databases of 1.5 million and 1 million properties respectively. It also expects to launch a French portal by the end of the year.
