BELGIUM - Gimv pumps EUR 5m into Alfacam
Belgium-based Gimv has invested EUR 5m into listed television service supplier Alfacam Group, taking its stake in the business to close to 5%.
Alfacam has decided to reorganise its priorities and focus on its core business of providing services to broadcasters and production houses. Because of this decision, the company will separate the EXQI project from the rest of the company.
The vendors, the Fehervari-Stoop family, will re-invest the proceeds resulting from the deal in EXQI, with Alfacam thus maintaining a minority stake in the project.
