AUSTRIA/FRANCE - 21 Centrale Partners and Quadriga inject capital into Palmers
21 Centrale Partners and Quadriga are backing Austrian women's underwear manufacturer Palmers Textil AG to acquire French company Lejaby SAS, for EUR 32.5m in cash, from US-based The Warnaco Group. A further interest-free note of EUR 12.5m is due by the end of 2013. 21 Centrale Partners is providing EUR 16.7m and the rest will be injected by Quadriga. The deal is still pending approval.
Palmers Textil AG was founded in 1914, has 900 employees and reported a turnover of EUR 110m through 330 outlets in Austria, Germany, and Western and Central Europe.
