FRANCE - Dii opens its capital to BNP Paribas Développement
BNP Paribas has bought a 25% share of Development Institute International (Dii) for an undisclosed sum, diluting management’s total hold of the company’s capital.
Established in 1993, Dii is a leading conference organiser which employs 20 people. The Paris-based company organises notably The Economist Group’ and AGEFI’s French seminars. All the members of the CAC 40 are also clients. Through acquisitions, the launch of a newsletter and the internationalisation of some of its conferences, the company aims to raise its turnover from EUR 5m in 2005 to EUR 8m in 2009.
