GERMANY – $10m second round for spodradio

Baytech Venture Capital and Benchmark Capital Europe have invested $10m in a Series-B funding of spodradio. Munich-based Baytech had previously invested $2.4m in a Series-A funding in 2005.

spodradio, which is developed by Liquid Air Lab and has offices in Stuttgart, Berlin and San Mateo/California, is the first worldwide radio and podcast hub for mobiles. It will use the funds to accelerate its expansion into international markets and develop new services.
