
SWEDEN - InnovationsKapital backs Syntensia with USD 3.5m
Innkap 4 Fund, managed by InnovationsKapital, has backed Syntensia, a network security company, with USD 3.5m. The deal, in which several private investors also participated, also includes the option for an additional USD 4m to be raised through a share issue directed towards InnovationsKapital.
Stockholm-headquartered Syntensia was established in 2005 and focuses on providing all-in-one network security solutions for small-medium businesses (SMB) in high growth emerging markets. The company has sales offices in twenty major Indian cities.
The new investment will be used to finance the business’ expansion into Cambodia and the Philippines and to continue growth in India.
