UK - The Capital Fund backs £450,000 2sms financing
The Capital Fund has invested ТЃ250,000 as part of a ТЃ450,000 financing round for mobile phone messaging services provider 2sms. The balance of the equity has been supplied by Richard Goldstein, an experienced SME investor, who has joined the 2sms board.
2sms provides businesses with text-messaging services, enabling alerts to be sent easily and quickly to both customers and staff, with all data encrypted to ensure security. The company's software has been developed in such a way that it can be bolted onto whatever systems the clients are currently using, avoiding any potential technology conflicts.
The new capital will be used to continue the organic expansion of the business, particularly through expansion into the US.
