SPAIN - Mediterrània acquires 49% stake in Agrolito for EUR 2.9m
Riva y García has acquired a 49% stake in agribusiness Agrolito, for EUR 2.9m via Mediterrània Capital fund.
Founded in 1998 by Emmanuel Leconte, the company employs 300 people on a temporary basis, in addition to its permanent staff of 20. In 2008, the Agrolito reported a EUR 20m turnover.
The capital will finance expansion into Eastern Europe, which will require an increase of the production capacity of the Tunisian operations, as well as improvement of facilities.
