UK - Terra Firma-backed Infinis sets out £1.2bn growth plans
Reports suggest that Terra Firma-backed renewable energy specialist Infinis has set in motion a ТЃ1.2bn plan designed to build it into one of the largest wind-energy producers in the UK.
Infinis was formerly part of WRG, the waste disposal group taken private by Terra Firma in 2003. The investor seperated the business from WRG's waste disposal division in 2006, and it was subsequently rebranded. Terra Firma plans to develop the company into a broad-based renewable energy business.
