SPAIN - MCH-backed Mabyc-Ibersegur acquires Alfia
MCH- and Suma-backed parking services company Mabyc-Ibersegur has acquired UK competitor Alfia Ltd from US parent Stanley Works.
Mabyc-Ibersegur is the leader in the Spanish market for the manufacturing, distribution and maintenance of parking services and equipment. The group is active in Latin America and has a strong presence in Morroco and Malaysia. The company was acquired by the MCH and Suma in September last year.
Bristol based Alfia offers a similar line of services and hopes to increase its range of products, services and thus sales via the merger.
