UK - Impax invests £4m in New Earth
Impax Asset Management has invested ТЃ4m in biological waste treatment and resource recovery company New Earth Solutions.
The investment has been made from two Impax funds, Impax Environmental Markets Plc and its open-ended Irish fund Impax Environmental Markets. The two funds have combined assets of over £600m.
New Earth was established to help local authorities meet their obligations to divert waste from landfill under the EU landfill directive. The company has a waste facility in Dorset and is constructing a new facility in Kent.
