ITALY – Clessidra-backed Giochi Preziosi acquires British firm
Clessidra-backed Giochi Preziosi has acquired British leisure products distributor La Flair for approximately EUR 11m.
La Flair, founded in 1999, is one of the UK’s major toy distributors, generating EUR 27m turnover and an operating margin of EUR 1.7m in 2007.
The acquisition is part of the company’s plan to expand its presence internationally while also consolidating the European distribution network through La Flair’s subsidiaries in France, Germany, Spain, Czech Republic, and Greece.
