Switzerland/Germany - Ventizz merges portfolio companies
Ventizz has merged the business activities of Switzerland-based electronic manufacturing service company AEM Technologies Holding AG and Germany-based card manufacturer CardFactory AG.
Ventizz was a majority owner in both companies via the fund Ventizz Capital Fund III LLC. The GP acquired AEM Technologies in 2006 from Infineon Technologies Fiber Optics GmbH. Ventizz first invested in CardFactory in a 2006 expansion deal. Two add-on acquisition have been completed since then: PPC Card in 2006, and the Austrian business Visioncard Kunststoffkarten-Produktions in January this year.
