FRANCE - Granville Baird portfolio company makes acquisition
Granville Baird's portfolio company Zarges Tubesca Group has acquired aviation ground equipment company Group Albret. The transaction was financed with a debt-only package.
Granville Baird Capital Partners acquired Zarges Tubsca in 2007 for EUR 156m from Taros Capital. DZ Equity also holds a 20% stake in the company. This marks the fourth buy-and-build acquisition for the business, after acquiring Spanish Tendo, German Zacher and Dutch Skyworks. All together, these acquisitions are expected to boost Zarges Tubesca's turnover by EUR 50m to an estimated EUR 360m in 2008.
