UK - August portfolio company acquires Beech Care and Nursing
August Equity-backed Enara Group has acquired Beech Care and Nursing Agency Ltd, a provider of healthcare related services, for an undisclosed sum.
Beech provides domiciliary care services, such as the placement of temporary or permanent nurses and care assistants to residential and homecare environments. Founded in 2001, the business is headquartered in Hersham near Walton on Thames. With the acquisition of Beech, Enara can offer an additional 4000 hours of care, and gains market access to Surrey. August acquired Enara in November 2008 in a £20m deal. It simultaneously acquired care services provider First Call Care Services.
