FRANCE - Crédit Agricole Private Equity invests in business mobility software

CAPE has committed EUR 1.8-2.3m, while AXA PE, which had invested EUR 1.1m in April 2005, will provide the balance.

Established in 2003, Sparus' technology includes security, communications management and administration features for hand-held devices. The company, which is part of Microsoft's IDEES programme, generated sales of EUR 500,000 in 2004. Its clients include Velux France, M6, ELM-Leblanc and Cegedim.
