
FRANCE – Rhone-Alpes PME Gestion recapitalised
Caisses d’Epargne de Rhone-Alpes, which consists of Caisse d’Epargne Rhone Aples and Caisse d’Epargne Ardeche, has taken a 50% stake in regional investor Rhone-Alpes PME Gestion.
The deal saw original investor la Caisse des Dépots et Consignations and Ecureuil Vie cede their 15% stake, while Siparex ceded 1%. Rhone-Alpes PME Gestion is now held 50/50 between Siparex and Caisses d’Epargne de Rhone-Alpes, with Siparex continuing to oversee investments by the company.
The firm, founded in 1999, has a EUR 50m fund which invests in regional companies. Since its inception Caisses d’Epargne de Rhone-Alpes has invested EUR 28m in 58 companies.
