Paragon Partners supports Chicco di Caffè
German private equity firm Paragon Partners has backed office coffee bar supplier Chicco di Caffè through a capital injection.
The deal was structured as a growth financing round and sees founder Christian Kohlhof and Ralf Meyer continue their management of the business in conjunction with managing finance director Christian Fellerer.
Chicco's fresh capital is aimed at supporting the company's position in the office coffee supply market, mainly among medium-sized companies.
With the existing 1,000 barista-operated coffee bars in German companies, the company seeks to expand further on a national level. The funding will be used to improve its headquarters, the quality and management of its product, recruiting, marketing and an in-house academy.
