
Index invests $4.5m in Silverfin
Global venture capital firm Index Ventures has led a $4.5m funding round for Silverfin, a Belgian accounting platform developer.
Existing backers of Silverfin joined Index in the funding round.
With the investment, the company intends to speed up product development, hire additional staff in its Belgian team and expand into the international market, starting with the UK.

Founded in 2013 and based in Ghent, Silverfin is an accounting and financial software developer for companies.
The business was founded by Tim Vandecasteele and Joris Van Der Gucht.
