
Industrifonden leads €7.5m funding round for Meniga
Nordic venture capital firm Industrifonden has led a €7.5m funding round for Icelandic fintech startup Meniga, alongside existing investors Frumtak and Velocity Capital.
This investment will help Meniga expand in the personal digital banking segment as well as deepen its connection with banks and other financial services providers.
Sofia Ericsson Holm, investment manager at Industrifonden, will join Meniga's board of directors.
Previous funding
According to Crunchbase, the startup has raised more than €21.3m in four rounds prior to Industrifonden's investment. In August 2016, Frumtak and Velocity Capital backed the company with €7.3m of venture funding and in July 2013 Kjölfesta provided $6.5m.
